The Focus of​​
the Ministry
for me
I was blessed to be Saved at a young age, but, like all others in the world I was a sinner headed for death and destruction. But through the grace of God manifested through Jesus Christ He gave me the Bread of Life. I was a beggar, needing that bread for sustenance, forgiveness, and restoration, and now that God has done that for me-I must show other beggars where the bread source is. God has instilled in me that my personal purpose for Him is to be like a beggar, just showing other beggars where to find bread. These things are what guide my personal ministry philosophy; guiding others to establish a relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and-once they have that relationship established-cultivating, maturing, and increasing knowledge of Christ through Discipleship.

Guided Church in discovery and fulfillment of its calling and mission, including casting God’s vision, encouraging spiritual development, leading congregation, and expanding congregation’s participation in mission activities. Planned and delivered weekly sermons, prepared long-term preaching plans, and implemented discipleship. Provided pastoral care, including hospital, shut-in, bereavement, and funeral visitation; guided and counseled congregation. Assisted with media, and built the church website.

Taught the REACH College & Career Class, worked with college age, and career young adults. Organized a Wednesday night college Bible study, men’s Bible study, including a ladies’ Bible study, led by my wife. Created PowerPoint presentations and preparing Bible studies and Bible messages. Creating and producing videos for ministry promotion. Began and oversaw a discipleship program for college age adults. Implemented and oversaw a visitation and outreach program called "SouthSide Outside".

Held church services in a residence, then a rented facility. Preached expository messages, and taught on Bible doctrinal positions. Had an average attendance of 10 people. Wrote a church constitution and by-laws, along with a church charter for proposal to interested attendees. After a couple months of study and canvassing the areas of Marshfield and Rogersville, God made it very clear that it was not the right time for that venture.

Traditional “pastor” role within the church as I preached, taught, visited, oversaw church business meetings, helped organize and facilitate church activities, coordinated a revival, held numerous prayer meetings, built and maintained a multi-media church website, and performed many other duties within the role of pastor.

Main teacher for the 6th-12th grade Sunday school and Wednesday night programs, operated a van route, visited and counseled teens, organized and directed activities, filled the pulpit in absence of the pastor on numerous occasions, assisted with church business matters, produced CD’s and DVD’s for special church functions, cleaned the church weekly, created church bulletins, and assisted in many projects delegated from the senior pastor. Started all youth ministries from scratch.

Granting entry to approved personnel. Conduct jump starts, tire air-ups, and lock out entries. Investigate crimes against persons, and property. Overseeing operations, and public safety personnel of the 1st watch or overnight shift.
