Josh-

As a child, I was privileged to grow up in a Christian home and be around The Truth my entire life. This Truth hit my heart in December 1989 when I trusted Christ as my Savior, after witnessing my mom accepting Christ several weeks before. At that point I realized that I was a sinner, deserving Hell, and could not save myself and needed Christ. I was then baptized in January 1990 at South Knollwood Baptist Church, in Topeka, Kansas.

My Christian walk then took another turn in July of 2001. While beginning to pursue an Associates degree in Business Information Systems at Topeka Technical College, the school closed abruptly. I then began searching for God’s purpose for my life. God immediately used the message, “Why God Has Blessed Us With This Facility,” preached by Pastor Mark Doss to call me into ministry and to surrender to preaching The Word.

August 2001, was the next step in my journey to be active in ministry and serve the Lord. I enrolled at Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to begin ministry training. I attended Heartland from 2001 to 2003, but returned home to Topeka, Kansas for a short reprieve from school as a time to focus on God’s directing hand for my life at that time. God then guided me to Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri where I was privileged to finish my Bachelor’s degree in 2007. Since that time I was blessed to earn a masters and a doctorate degrees from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia.

Since answering the call to preach, I have filled many roles within several ministries throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Currently, God has me serving in the South Greenfield area.
