To whom it may Concern:

My name is Joshua Thomas; I am the Pastor of North Star Baptist Church in Strafford Missouri.  I want to formally recommend Joshua Wayne Hall, for the position of Pastor.  I first met Josh over 10 years ago.  Our family had lost a relative.  Josh Hall was the Youth Pastor at United Baptist Church.  He had been ministering to my Uncle Terry Mondy, who was dying of a brain tumor.  We met at my Uncle's funeral where Josh was a fellow pallbearer.

I found Josh to be a very moral person, and a very dedicated person in his work and in his schooling.  He worked a full-time job to support himself while going to Baptist Bible College full time.  He continued to serve his church at the time as the Youth Pastor.

On the ministry side of life, Josh Hall pours himself into the ministry.  He takes his calling very seriously; he has a lot of Bible education. He strives to see the fulfillment of the great commission given to us by our Lord Jesus not only in wanting to see people saved and baptized, but by also wanting to make Disciples of Christ through true discipleship.  I believe that too often, discipleship seems to be a neglected part of the commission, but a very important part of the commission.  I believe him to be a called man of God who will be a blessing to any Bible preaching and teaching church that would call him to be their Pastor.

In Christ,

Pastor Joshua Thomas
North Star Baptist Church, Strafford MO

To whom it may concern:

For several years, Josh has not only been a friend, but he has also been a responsible and reliable part of the security team at South Side Baptist Church.

While serving as an associate pastor at South Side Baptist, I was responsible for the security teams that we have for multiple services and events. Josh not only has been a part of those teams, he has been at the front of the leadership of security.

The church property is located in a precarious neighborhood. There are unique challenges that arise most services at our location. Josh has been a calming and steady voice in each situation. Josh has faithfully led the security on Wednesday nights.

Our church initiated a new ‘addiction recovery’ ministry that met each Friday night. As many as 160 were attending. Josh and I headed up the security, and his ‘can do’, conscientious attitude was a real asset.  Josh is reliable, steady, professional and caring. He was the one person I could always call upon and know that he would be there if I needed him.

Sincerely,

Nicholas L. McClure
